It is really important for us to host events that you and your family enjoy in order to get the very best from our fundraising activities. We are glad that 78% of you feel we hold just the right amount of events throughout the year, so it is our aim to improve those events in line with your feedback.
In 2019 we aim to…
Improve Communication
- Improve the way we communicate upcoming events, giving you more notice and more details about the events itself
- Review each event, sharing highlights and amounts raised
- Give more information on when/where the money raised has been spent
Run more Family Friendly Events
- Shift the focus of all events more on to the children
- Introduce a Fathers Day sale
- Bring back the Summer Fayre
Make it easier to Donate
- Set up a Just giving page to allow people/companies to make a donation at any time
- Set up easyfundraising to allow people to earn cashback for the school
- Set up a donation button on the website
Promote Healthy Eating
- Offer healthy alternatives at events, e.g Discos and cake sales
- Replace prizes at events with non-food alternatives (where possible)
Be more considerate of the Environment
- Be more mindful of recycling following events
- Replace the use of plastic with recyclable or reusable options
